The province of Palawan is now fully open. There are NO requirements to visit the province!

The province of Palawan has already reopened to domestic tourists arriving from areas under Alert Levels 1-4 as well as GCQ and MGCQ areas. The travel requirements are pretty much the same at all entry points: Puerto Princesa, El Nido, and Busuanga (Coron). Once you are already in Palawan, you only need a negative antigen test result if you plan to explore other areas outside of your point of entry.

El Nido Travel Requirements

These are the travel requirements for tourists coming from outside Palawan. Please take note that El Nido only accepts guests from Alert Levels 1-4. If you are over 65 or have comorbidities, you must be fully vaccinated to be allowed to enter El Nido.

  • Proof of Vaccination
    • Vaccination card / Vaccine Certificate (Negative RT-PCR for unvaxxed)
  • Hotel Booking/Reservation in a DOT-Accredited Hotel
  • S-Pass Travel https://s-pass.ph/ – now unrestricted so you only need to upload your ID. Travel requirements will be checked prior to boarding and upon arrival in El Nido.

If you fly to Puerto Princesa, your travel requirements will be checked at the airport upon check in. You can then take a van or bus to El Nido from Puerto Princesa.
